Default 60k mile service?

Does anyone know what services they preform at 60k miles. Wondering if I should take it to my mechanic or the dealer. The dealer quoted me $725 plus tax. Thanks (2010awd is250)

Lets play nice.

The owners manual describes whats needed to be done at 60k

The MUST DOs if you are wondering

1) Spark plugs if not done so
2) Coolant flush
3) Oil change
4) Tires (Since it should be changed every 30k.)

everything else will depend on your driving conditions.

Spark plugs is what drives the cost up since its a PITA to access them.
If you have the Valve spring recall, ask them to do the spark plugs while they perform the recall because they remove the same parts.

Good luck!

If you have an Independent or do the work yourself you can added it to your cars maintenance history. This should help with resale. plus drive Lexus shows all your service intervals.

I don't see anything about coolant. What you need to do is this (check the manual online at Lexus Drivers site):
- Oil change
- Spark plug change
- Brake fluid change

You should do these 2 things, but they're very easy to do yourself (make sure you read the manual before changing the AC air filter):
- change AC air filter
- change engine air filter

Inspect the tires; same with brake pads.

lol, that's even less useful than I thought -- I like the site, there is always funny to see what's going to be typed.
