Default Headlight Adjustment Issues

My headlights were pointed a bit low, leaving me with very little visibility at night. I attempted to correct this tonight using the adjusters at the front of the car. I was able to raise the headlights to a good level and get them even. I confirmed this by driving around. However, the next time I started the car the headlights seemed to adjust themselves out of position. Is there a trick to adjusting the headlights so that they stick?

do you know if you have adaptive headlights? you know they move while you drive or turn corners. depends on the model but i believe is a feature and or some models came with it. I adjusted my 07 up and no issues but i don't have that feature adaptive headlights

Looks like you have AFS headlights.

The headlights will do a check, kinda like your speedo needles when you start the engine. The headlights going down and up is normal in AFS lights. If you adjust your headlights and are still not to your liking, it would mean you have to adjust it some more. It actually takes alot of turns to move the damn thing
