Exclamation AFS OFF blinking light

Good morning everyone, looking for some assistance with fixing the AFS OFF blinking light.

Two weeks ago I purchased some Spec-D Projector Headlights for my 2007 250. Install was simple but now the AFS OFF light won't go off. As I understand it's because the new aftermarket lights do not have the motor inside the lights.

My question is this. Is there a way to remove the motor from the old lights and connect them to the new lights or if that is to much trouble, is there a way to get the light to turn off and stop blinking?

You can either disconnect the fuse that correlates with AFS functions, or you can put black electrical tape to cover it.

Tape was my first option but I wanted to make sure there wasn't a better option first! Thanks Icy350!

Yeah, try pulling the AFS fuse. You should be able to locate where it is via the owner manual.

Pull the afs fuse under the steering wheel fuse box. Just 1 min job why would u pull the whole cluster out to put black tape on when u can just pull the fuse?

Pulling The Fuse Is Only Option For You Cause After Market Headlight Didn't Have Any Mounting Point To Mount AFS motor.
