Default Quick wheel/tire question

I wanted to purchase all around 18x8 +45 - 225/45/18 from a member here for IS350 RWD. I just realized that our stock size is 225/40/18. Will that extra 5 cause problems with rubbing etc ?

R u lowered? If not you should be fine as the difference in wheel diameter is 5.

No, all stock. I did some quick research, but still unclear....whats the speedometer difference ? and are there any REAL issues with ABS and traction getting thrown off ?

Speedo difference should be minimal. Maybe 5km/h Its not like you're changing rim sizes. Just the side walls of the wheels are smaller. The ride would be a little bumpier as there is less air between the ground and wheels to absorb the impact.

You mean less bumpier? Going from 40s to 45ss, taller tire
