Default So this happened last night.

Any thoughts of damage that cannot be repaired? Has anyone had experience with something like this? My rear door drops down when I open it and I have trouble closing it. I feel sad since I love my Lexus IS fsport. It sucks if it gets repaired and it doesn't feel the same again.

It hurts to look! ouch. Sorry but if you really want to know there could be lot's of problems external and internal. I suggest you take it to a collision center to have an estimate.

Thanks Keo. Yeah I hate looking at it like this. I have not touched my car since I got hit. Im taking it today to a collision center to see what they say.

does it feel different when you drive it? i really fear damage in the rear quarter panels from accidents like this since its not an easy repair like a new fender and minor chasis alignment like upfront but just weigh cashing in insurance and buying another one vs fixing it since there appears to need serious work there from the missaligned trunk also the hit on the door and frame around door etc.

Just curious as to how the accident happened? Hope it is the other guy's fault.

@SebaPR, I don't feel a difference driving it but I'm sure problems may come out overtime. I have been considering getting rid of it because even after they fix it , I know it won't be the same.

@User420. The accident occurred while I was stopped at a red light, the driver told me he looked down while driving. I think he was texting and tried to avoid me. He drove a Mazda 3 sport, he could not drive his car after the accident , his right front tire and fenders were pretty messed up.

I just had it checked at a service center my insurance sent me to, the guy estimated the damage at 4,500. But he said there will be more when they take it apart for sure. And more internal problems may occur as time goes by.
