Hi guys,

New guy here! Just bought a 2007 IS350 couple of weeks ago. I noticed that the tweeter speaker on the driver side rattles a bit when I go over a 40mph or play audio with bass. Is this due to the speaker being loose? I would like to take it apart and see what's going on but do I have take the whole door panel out for this? Didn't see any other way to access the tweeter.

 

Are you sure it's not just something vibrating around in the door pocket? The other day I thought I'd blown my lower passenger front door speaker; but it was just some paint brushes my wife put there without me knowing. LOL!

 

No. nothing on the pockets. Pretty sure its the tweeters

 

My door rattles a bit on my passenger side, but goes away when I open the pocket. I have tried stuffing foam in places but still haven't found the exact cause.
