Default P0051 - Right Sensor?

Hey guys,

I got the CEL: P0051 - Oxygen (A/F) Sensor Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

I just want to make sure this is the right sensor before I order?

Denso 234-9051

I bought mine from rock auto, much cheaper. BTW you it's WISE to change both at the same time. I posted a pic of mine, old one, in the earlier post from some having an 02 sensor issue. Let me see if I can find the correct # to order. It took me hours to change them, not an easy task I learned the hard way but now know the tricks

Thanks, I have a coupon with autoplocity which makes it cheaper. I have PPE headers so I'm hoping that makes it easier to change.

This is what my codes came up

P2238 - divers side at the manifold ( bank 1/ sensor 1) note that upstream means closest to engine
P2241 - pass side at the manifold (bank 2/ sensor 1)*
An a/f (air fuel ratio) sensor is not a heated oxygen sensor.*

It's not the headers that make it ez. To get to a/f sensor (pass side) a lot has to be taken out to get to it. You cannot get it from the under carriage

I think I'll try the drivers side first to see if it clears the code.

With the PPE headers the one in the picture from that post you can reach from the under carriage (if its the same one for Bank 2 Sensor 1. Its definitely not where it is in the picture under that fuse box.
Did you have a part number for the B2S1 sensor you used?

You've got it backwards. Bank 1 is the passenger side.

I looked up the code and found this one. It is different than mine but mine is correct. I also looked up other Toyotas and it's basically the same. If someone can prove me wrong please do so. I could be wrong, but am I? Lol

Do me a favorite and take a pic from engine Bay. I've been reading others post and some don't know the difference between an O2 sensor, location, and an a/f sensor. Believe me I was lost in the beginning too but talked to mechs as well as others.
It sounds like it's an O2 sensor if you can reach it from the under carriage. What year and is yours awd?
