How long did it take for them to do the recall? Might plan a mini vacation if it takes longer than 1 day

hey Victor,

how you doing? Haven't talk to you for while....
If you drop off in the morning with appointment, the car should ready by end of day.

Wouldn't there be a possibility that they would finish by Saturday noon?

They would but just ask if you can keep it for the rest of the day. I took mine in at 9am and they were done at 130pm. I then asked if i could just keep it for the rest of the day and they said yes. But all this was on tuesday not on saturday.

I have a 2011 Is350. How do I know I qualify? Where do I search or who do I call?

I called the dealer and gave them my vin. they would then look up your vin in the database to see if your car falls under the recall.

Got mines done today. Took them about 2 hours and change.. Didn't have to leave the dealer. Filled up the car with gas and washed it. Tho I could still see dirt on the wheels not gonna complain about a free wash

Never say yes to the free wash unless you like swirls in your paint and them using the same dirty rag on the inside of your car that they use on every else's.

started to feel vibrations in my seat when driving a couple days after i got the car back from this recall fix. at slow/moderate speeds it is noticeable, but at higher speeds it is not as noticeable. also starting to notice more of a vibration when in gear and it goes away when i'm parked or in neutral

wondering if this recall involved the lexus techs to mess with the engine mounts or something. checked my tires and they seem to be ok. am going to have the tires rebalanced soon to see if it helps...any other ideas? TIA

Did they give you free fill-up? Maybe bad gas?
They also disconnected the battery so the ECU is in process of re-learning hence the idle might fluctuating a little.
I would give it sometime.

Yeah they did fill it up. Interesting, I'll give it sometime. Just wondering if the recall fix involved any removal of any major parts that could affect ride and handling. Took the engine cover off to see if there were any issues similar to the ISF guys, but everything looked normal.
