This is a super old thread, but did cusco ever give a answer on how to solve the fitment issue with the hood closing?

i had this issue for over 2-3 years. Now the back side of my hood isn’t aligned with my fenders. It looks like I went river and added washers for the hood to sit up at a angle.

thins is making me want to ditch this bar and go for another company.

I recommend you picking up a front tower bar from Ultra Racing instead. It's a solid one-piece bar and there are no issues with the hood closing.

I remember seeing these for around $100 on ebay. Now the price has significantly skyrocketed.

The main problem that caused this is the bar is too long. It pushes up in the middle which pushes up on the hood when shut when the strut bar is installed, so basicallly, you need redrill or dremo the hole wider on each mount where the bar bolts on to... i am too lazy to do it so i am buying another one from another brand lol...
