I'm thinking of doing a 3IS front bumper conversion. I know that it needs a section from each side of the old bumper to be cut out and fused to the 3IS bumper. Any ideas how much to cut off and what the best way to measure? will placing on bumper on top of the other help figuring out how much to cut?

From what I can see so far, it's not just the section below the headlamp, it seems a small section along the wheel arch area is also needed
