Default front diff oil change questions

1. Can I use mobil 1 75W-90 synthetic gear lube LS? This is GL-5 rated.

2.What tool would you recommend for removing fill plug? I read its 14mm hex head.

3. Can I fill the front diff trough the drain plug if need be? Its messy but I seen it done on european cars.

1. Can I use mobil 1 75W-90 synthetic gear lube LS? This is GL-5 rated. Use whatever Lexus recommends.

2.What tool would you recommend for removing fill plug? I read its 14mm hex head. Use a 14mm hex key! If you need additional leverage, use a deep well socket on a socket extension bar.

3. Can I fill the front diff trough the drain plug if need be? Its messy but I seen it done on european cars. I would assume there would be a fill bolt in the diff. Drain through drain bolt hole, and fill through the fill bolt hole. If there is no fill bolt hole, yes...you can do it through the drain.
