Looking at buying a 2006 is250 tomorrow. About the car...
108,000 miles
2006
Luxury package
Fair condition on interior and exterior
10,000$
I have a specific question though. With the options kbb has it at 10,400$ in fair condition. However, at 96,000 his car was part of the recall for engine misfire. When it happened Lexus put in new cylinder heads and Pistons. Since then he has put on 12,000 miles for a total of 108,000. For $10,000 would you guys buy this car? For those who dealt with this recall, did the problems go away after lexus' fix? I'm looking to buy a reliable and "nice" car and this would be perfect. Thanks for the help in advance.

 

Has carbon build up been resolved as well?

 

I believe so but I will have to check the paperwork out tomorrow. What would you say in either case?

Most is250s same year more mileage are more expensive...

 

Idk the prices but I was on eBay and searched for an IS350 and here is what I found .http://www.ebay.com/itm/251733800718?redirect=mobile It's from Texas so not too far away from CA but it's a way better deal than a 2006 IS250. You get a car with 100HP more and with less miles on it as well.
