Precautions when Changing Battery ?
Probably its just a dead battery. I got my battery disconnected from the car right now, trying to see if it will take a charge.
Just thought it would be prudent to check with the forum if there are any particular precautions to take when connecting a battery. ( i.e a little concerned about buggering any of the electronics) ???
I tied to start it up yesterday, and battery was half dead, would not start. I saw a warning "hatch ajar", but figured the battery should be able to run the bulb in the trunk for a day or two without problems. I closed the trunk and took my other car to my appointment, and when I got back, electrics were totally dead. Strange that it discharged on its own.

at stated in the previous post:
1. disconnect the negative terminal first
2. disconnect the positive terminal
3. remove battery tie down
4. remove old battery and install new battery
5. reconnect battery tie down
6. reconnect positive terminal first
7. reconnect the negative terminal last
8. have a beer for a job well done!!!
