Help! LED headlight not working, IS 250
Just installing new OEM LED headlights onto IS 250. Custom fit the bracket, main bulb working, but LED lights are not working. Do I need to rewire? What?
Thank you!
Thank you!
My dad bought the same headlights for his F150 (actually I bought them for him LoL) and we had the same problem upon installing them. Did the leds have a separate switch (meaning a small metal box attached to the cable) or do they have a separate cable? I can't really remember what my dad did to make them work, but I think that his leds were some weird bulbs that needed to be plugged onto the car's factory plug. Long story short, and not to disappoint or scare you - he ended up getting HIDs for the headlights. Let me know what you found for the leds - separate switch or cable. Good luck with the installation.
forgot to say, it may be the cables hooked up incorrectly. My dad said that sometimes the red and the black cables are messed up on the diagram that comes in the box, so you have to switch them out and try until they come on.
1. Keep as is
2. Instead reverse the polarity with the connectors, reverse just the pins.
