Default Cruise Control

Hey guys,

When I go to turn on my cruise control and set the speed, it starts flashing red and says CHECK CRUISE CONTROL.

Has anyone had this problem before? I called the dealership and they said they would have to run a diagnostic, which is like $135. And that isnt including what the fix-it charges would be. Anyone have any tips?

Thanks.

Before you doing anything, reset the entire car by disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes. It is free and fixed many electronic-type issues with these cars. But if the problem persists, it will have to be something for the dealership to look at.

Is there a cruise control fuse?
