I just bought a 2007 Lexus IS 350 with about 78,000 miles. So yesterday I noticed that after my car had been running for a while, when my car is idle and I turn the wheel, some squeaking occurs. Not sure where it's coming yet as it was late when I first noticed it so I havent had a chance to look at it yet. Just wondering if any of you guys had this issue also?
My tires make the skiitttttttt noise when i turn hard and fast like like in slide with traction control off. You sure you are not driving too hard and fast?? Did it occur when you first test drive the car or just recently? Did you do anything to the car?
Thanks for the quick response. You know, I was talking to one of my buddies and showed him the issue, he said it way me one of the bearings on the tensioner or pulleys? Not sure which or exactly what he called it. I'm going to drive it out a while and see if the problem persists. The squeaking and hissing isn't too loud yet and it only occurs when I come to a complete stop after the engine has been running for a few minutes.
I'm assuming it's because I've been driving it a little hard testing out the new ride. Definitely going to relax on the pedal from here on going out.
