Default ~~~ Radiator cap broke OFF!!! HELP! ~~ with pic!

So I was doing the normal check up when i pulled of the radiator cap and the bottom of the cap BROKE OFF!!!

It was stuck in the mouth and i was trying to take it out with a long nose pliers but it FELL IN DEEPER!

I frantically took both hoses to the radiator off, and try to flush it out a hose...

I got spring, and the bottom brown plug out but the round metal O-ring-like part might still be floating around in there.

The picture is not my car but its just to show what broke off. It broke off from the spring down.

Is there anything else I can try? I tried looking into the cavities of the radiator unit the best i can, even got a small strong magnet to see if i can fish it out but no luck.

I think your next best option would either be replace the radiator with a new one or remove your old radiator and have a shop proffessionally high pressure flush it it out.

Try getting a magnet at auto supply/body shop store. Its a magnet at each end of a flexible type coil/wire thats about 10-12" long. Good luck

LOL i would love to get a koyo radiator, maybe one day if mine started leeking hehehe

how come everyone is going OEM cap? I ended up going to the suerpcheap auto (Australian motorist store) to get a generic one =/

And since I dropped something at the top, would it most likely end up at the top tank of the radiator or the bottom?....or is there somewhere else that it might go?

Once i pulled off the pips, rad juice went everywhere, so im not even sure if its out already LOL
