@Jeff Lange That is exactly what i am trying to do! However i'm not that good with reading diagrams, any chance you have photos of what you did?
Does your high beam still work when needed?

Unfortunately it has been 7-8 years since I did the modification to my car. Explaining it, basically you want to use a SPST relay to control when the high beam circuit gets completed. Interrupt either the ground or power side of the wiring going to the high beam bulb and connect it to the normally-open switched terminals of the relay (wire from pin 1 or 2 on the headlight connector gets cut and goes to terminals 30 and 87 on a typical Bosch-style automotive relay), and have the relay triggered by the low beam circuit (terminal 85 gets spliced into pin 17 and terminal 86 gets spliced into pin 16 on the headlight connector).

This will disable the DRL functionality of the high beam bulb while retaining full high beam functionality.

Hey, unfortunately my electrician wasn't able to get it to work however now my high beam is in the projector, when i flick my high beams the light in the projector flicks.
Anyone have any info on that, or how to redirect it back to its original high beam position

Hey there joe-z.
Can you help me out with a simple mod, i read though all your posts and i'm still confused and which wire to tap/slice into or repin them if i need too.
I now have a 2013 Lexus ISF with Oem led drl headlights.
As we all know ,DRL is 100% then low beams on and DRL is 50%, I want them to stay at 100% all time. Which wire was the one i needed to repin or splice/tap into , please help me ! been struggling this for awhile now thanks again
