Default Can I replace my non-nav steering wheel with a nav one?

So I have a 2008 IS250 and my steering wheel was cut up so long story short, I need a new one. Can I replace my steering wheel with no navigation for one that has navigation? And does it have to be the same year for it to work.

I am pretty sure you can all you need to do is keep the buttons that where on your steering wheel, that's it.

Like others said, just transfer the buttons over. The Phone buttons will NOT work if you dont have it as a factory option, even if you installed an aftermarket unit like the flyaudio/alibaba ones
