Advice on +35 off set?
I am planning on picking up some rims
fronts are 19x8.5 rears are 19x10 both wheels have a +35 off set will I be fine where the outside of the rim is pretty flushed against the fender or is it so deep inside the fender that I will need to use spacers? |

I have a similar setup so I can chime in.
8.5 +35 is not very flush up in the front, to be pretty flush (but not aggressive), you will need an extra 15 in the front. (+20). If you lower your car, you will need some fender work like relocating the bumper tab. 10 +35 in the back is pretty flush but it is not very aggressive. Also, you will see a pretty noticeable difference in flushness on the back and the front. +10 or +15 spacer in the front should fix this inconsistency but some people like that look so its up to you. As many will probably state, it all depends on what you want, what drop and what tire size you are going. I hope this helps. Jay |

If you don't want to be too aggressive, I would avoid putting a 10" wheel in front. 8.5" front is a decent width that will fit pretty well. If you want a more flush look, you'd need to get lower offset wheels, or put a 9" up front with about 25-30 offset. I also second the notion for fender work.

Thanks so much Jay for advice and information. I don't want to be too aggressive but would like to have an even look. I plan to use 35 series tires...not really sure if I want staggard tires or same all around...I do know I don't want to stretch my tires too much. I'll go wider if necessary. Right now am dropped on stock Fsport is250 springs maybe planning to drop 1-2 more inches but not slammed. What do u recommend as far as front rim width to get an even flush look? Should I got 19x10 all around?
Example setup would be, 19x9 +35, 19x10 +35. This makes it so that the fronts and rears look pretty even while maintaining that stagger look. If I can rewind time, for a not-so-aggressive stance, I would've probably ordered 19x9 +35, 19x10 +35. Maybe +30. This gives you a pretty flush look while not being too aggressive. You also don't need to stretch your tires. If you are going for a big drop though, I recommend 225s in the front, even with 19x8.5s and tab relocation, the metal was eating through my 235 tires I hope this helps. Jay |
My setup (not quite apples to apples though):
Front - 19x8.5 front 225/35/19 offset 35 Rear - 19x9.5 265/30/19 offset 45 https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...90346140_o.jpg |
this is my old set up and pretty much same offsets but I think it may have been +34 all around not flush at all but also no fender mods and this was my ride height.

I had 19x9.5 +35 f14's all around. It did rub a little up front with 235/35r19s on f sport springs but when i downsized to a 30 series tire it was all good! Sorry for the vague picture but its the only one i could find at the moment.

I had 18 x 9.5 all around +35 for my 07 IS250 AWD. Fronts looked pretty good. Close to flush. The rears could have been wider or lower offset like +25 but, I stuck with a square setup.
