Default OEM Carbon Fiber Hood by Seibon

Would you laugh at me if I got the Seibon OEM Carbon Fiber Hood for a 2010 Starfire Pearl IS250?

Depends on how your car looks like now!

Stock car? No.

For weight savings? It's negligible

Modded car? Sure. Just mod accordingly to make it work

Here's mine, although it's the vented style. But it's on SFP car

Nice ride! I've also got the SFP about 3 weeks ago. Build setup for the 18th-19th. I'll have to post back with pics when its complete to get a better opinion.

looks so good

i know you are supercharged so it's different; but for a regular dd isx50 is it problematic to have rain or car wash water getting into the engine bay?

No problems here!! I was concerned about that as well but I've had no problems mainly i think because of the engine covers!!

I made "windows" for the vents. The wire mesh that came with the hood for the vents looked really cheesy in my opinion, and my supercharger has a big exposed air filter I didn't want to get soaked back when I daily'ed the car. So no worries with water for me, or dirt or vandalism.

It'll look good only if you add additional carbon fiber items to the exterior.
