I have searched the threads and decided to stop lurking and join today. I am looking for a thread or guide which will show me which wire is activated by the high beam switch. My wonderful wife got me the LED DRLs for my IS for Christmas and of course now my high beams suck. I love the updated look too much to go back to the yellow dim high beams.

Anyway! I have a plan. I ordered a set of the the rigid D2 LED driving lights http://www.rigidindustries.com/led-lighting/50231 . I am going to mount them behind my lower grill and utilize them as high beams. To do this I need to know which wire to run my relay off of prior to the DRL decoder.

Anyone? Anyone?

 

Not sure if this is much help but, the High Beams are just the DRL lights but at full power.

 

you will need to get a 9006 splitter it will split the wire in two so you will have a extra connector
