Probably clearing the code didn't fix the problem. Did the error code come back?

The dealership where I got the car ran the VIN and there are crap ton of recalls for my car. Now the hardest part is to get the car down to Roseville (one hr drive) and get a loaner car. Hoping this fixes the issues.

You can create an account in Lexus Drivers site and enter the VIN. It will show all service history and outstanding recalls. http://drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers/my-lexus/home.do

Where did you get the car?

Okay I will check that out. I bought the car from a Used Car lot. Not a shaddy one either.

Well after having the battery disconnected for a few days, my husband tried to see if the car would start... No go. Tried everything and ended up having tha car towed again to a local dealership here. $175 for a diagnostic... No word as to the issue(s). I am truely not a happy camper about that. I know I bought the car used and it ran FINE the first three weeks. The only thing that changed was a battery replacement and the starter relay. So we will see...

We got a call today with an update. There is no power going to the fuse block in front of the battery. I noticed eariler it looked like some one else has been in there and sodered stuff.

My question is what is that fuse block called? It is on the passenger side right infront of the battery.

Are you in a position to take photos or is it still at the dealership? Perhaps it could be "as simple" as replacing the harness leading to that fuse block and the fuse block itself from a wreck 2IS? Very odd situation.

The car is still at the delearship. We should have it bsck by Tuesdsy at the latest. Being I bought ye car used snd the previous people had an after market sub system... We noticed the soder job in the fuse block under the clear plastic cover. I found the complete wireing harbess with the fusr block for $360 on ebay. The dealership said tye fuse block is $350.

Ah, that makes sense; I hate it though that the previous-owners crappy wiring/solder is making life difficult for you.

Are you going to pull the trigger on the ebay item? Got a link to it?

My husband ok'd the dealership to do the work so yes I am not getting the wireing harness on ebay. Oh I know and well it has to be done. Some people are just not as bright as the other colors in the box.

http://m.ebay.com/itm/190965612566?nav=WATCHING&sbk=1The fourth pic is the fuse block/cluster that is being replaced. The dealership said they where not getting any power to over half of the block.

Well, sounds like you'll finally getting a running car back here soon!

Yep, that's the fuse box I was thinking of; I guess the previous stereo install was quite the hack job. Tell the dealership that you want to keep the faulty items too! You could possibly sell it online.

I sure hope to get my car back soon. Going from the Go-Cart (IS350) to driving my husbands 300c took a little to get use to. Oh that is a good thing. I will call the dealership for the old parts. After all the starter reply is $28 new and I bought that three weeks ago. Thanks again for all of the help.

Funny hearing someone call the IS350 a go-cart. A go-cart to me would have been the two Honda Civics I use roll in.
