Nice try ! Try to run a wet kit just in case in leans out all you have to do is T the line before the direct injection pump. It is run at about 30-45 psi fuel pressure and you can run 150 shoot and see a big again of power

donkey (shrek voice).... good job. im looking to run nitrous for track use soon. right now my 1/8 mile is 2.2 - 2.3 60ft times and average of 8.92 when its not too hot and humid down here in south Florida. trap speed 80-80.5 best time i ran is an 8.88 when the weather was a bit cooler. im wondering why your trap speed is only at 86mph???

I was running similar times without the nitrous aswell. A 6mph gain with a 55shot on the 1/8 is pretty decent I think. I just ordered a 75hp jet, hopefully I can break into the 7's.

Are you planning on running a wet or dry kit? How big of shot?

I would prefer a wet shot (can be controlled a little better) but i ultimately want to do a 100 shot.

How is the 75 shot treating you?

I can't hit the unit out the hole on the street like I would with the 55shot, spins a bit too much

I have yet to track it to see the difference it actually makes. I've been contemplating on buying a pair of 17's off the is300 models and slapping a drag radial on but I'm not too sure about the fitment. I'm going to surf around and see if anyone here has tried it.

Have you installed your nitrous yet?

No i have postponed it. I just got my headers and ill install then next week. I still want to run a wet shot and put a progressive input on it. but money has gone elsewhere for the next year. You should look into running a unit to progressively spray the nitrous.

I'd imagine a 17" wheel would fit fine with the smaller caliper/rotor out back. But they do make 18" DRs too :

Nitrous 1/8 Mile pass-image-446646452.jpg

So I thought I'd update this.

I finally got a chance to hit the track after a couple rainy Thursday's. Stupid me was so excited to hit the track and test out the 75 shot I forgot to take me helmet. So I had to hit on the brakes at the end for the first 2 passes to dial in my 60s

Pass 1 - 1.993 60 foot 8.90 @ 57mph
Pass 2 - 1.920 60 foot 9.02 @ 52 mph
Pass 3 - 1.854 60 foot 8.135 @86.20

After the last pass they cut my wrist band due to no helmet. I removed the front passenger seat, my sons Recaro seat, headrests, floor mats, spare tire, floor jack and was run with 1/2 tank of gas and Yokohama Avid Envigor street tire. Next track day involves a helmet, and front runners.

^NICE!!! Exactly what kit do you have on the car and how/where do you have the nozzle setup? Nitrous is obviously the biggest power bang for your buck...but we have yet to log a long trial period using the juice to see that the motor will contunuallly handle this power increase (along with the trans and stock diff/axles).

I have a pretty basic dry Zex Kit. Zex box mounted by the intake, nozzle in the intake tube, arming switch underneath steering column, and the button in my glove box. I've only gone through 1 10lb nitrous tank, i'm not really nitrous crazy because I don't want to lean out and blow up. When I am using nitrous I ad Turbo 108 octane booster. I would love to ad some sort of piggy back to retard timing and ad spark to run wet with a much bigger shot
