HELP!!!: Varrstoen IS350 brakes and fitment Questions
Ive searched and cant seem to find a definitive answer:
Do Varstoens ES2 19x9.5+22 clear the regular IS350 front brakes?
I've read that these wheels dont clear the IS350 Fsport BBK's, but i cant find anything definitive regarding the regular breaks. If they dont clear, and i decide to go with the +30 offset, what is the smallest spacer i can run that will clear the breaks with?
I know +12 wouldnt require spacers, but:
-I dont want to install camber plates
-I drive aggressively
-where i live, I cannot legally lower my car as low as lets say this guy:

If i were to go +12 offsets
I roll and pull my fenders (more so than they are now) and cut the fender tab (right now just bent out the way)
and I wont be able to find tires locally smaller than a 225/35/19
Would i be ok? I dont want to be constantly rubbing, i can, and have been dealing with rubbing on dips and hard turns, but i have to take clients in my car and cannot be rubbing at the slightest of imperfections in the road.
My car as it sighs now:
specs
BC racing shocks + Swift springs
19x8.5 +45 (plus 25mm spacer)
19x9.5 +45 (plus 30mm spacer)
tires:225/35/19 and 255/35/19

No they don't . I had es2 varstoen 19x9.5 +30 & 19x10.5 +30.
The front brakes wouldn't clear and had to buy a 10mm spacer. Since my front fender was not pulled the tire stuck out alot.
I was told I needed a high disc wheel .
I have an 06 is350

Cause running a +20 would be easier than trying to run a +12

So how did HKS350 fit big brakes and Varrstoenes ES2.2.2 on his car?????
his specs were 19x9.5,10.55 +22
I could be wrong, but he isnt running a camber kit and his wheels dont poke out wide than a +22

i put IS350 brakes on my IS250 this weekend and can't seem to find a definitive answer about +22 clearing or not. i'm tempted to just order +22 and grind the caliper slightly if necessary. i refuse to run a spacer.

Yes I cleared it with the 10 mm spacer by wasn't about all that. At +20 I needed a nice pull on the fender something I wasn't willing to do at the time.
I also was only able to get 3.5 turns on my lugs. Some said it was good enough but I didn't want to risk it. I would advise longer lugs.

guys have succesfully run +12 offset but they either all have camber arms (if they needed them or not) or are running super low creating natural camber, neither of which im prepared to do

On a +22 I was told to run a 15, im pretty sure a 10 would work, cant find a definitive answer about a 5mm, cause even w 5 ur down to +17, where as if u run +30 and go w a 10mm as mentioned above it it should be easier.

I think shaving the brakes is the riskest option. Its not clear what clearance u need and u run the risk of ruining ur brakes if u mess up. A 5mm H&R spacer would b alot safer than shaving down ur brakes, as would getting + 12 wheel and shaving pulling and rolling ur fenders and associated tabs

I think your confuse here cause if a +22 don't work then your gonna need more than 10mm on the +30. To get that +12 offset they say to fit.with offspring suggestion I would consider if he was running varrstoen or a different brand. As I stated not all wheel are made the same even with same spec. Wheel disk play a factor to if it clears bbk or not. By the way Offspring has a 250 not 350 with bbk.
Looking online I think they might clear with the +22 now. Best to contact varrstoen them self tho.http://www.wrongfitmentcrew.com/foru...fsmith-s-IS350

Id also like to add that IMO the notion of the +22 rim not clearing could have started when some dude with an IS350 F-sport BBK upgrade couldnt get the +22 to clear, and that became a +22 rim wont clear a regular IS350 BBK.
Thats my conspiracy theory atleast. I want it to fit goddamit.
EDIT: I pm'ed the guy to find out exactly what he meant by the +22 wheel wont clear the BBK
