Cranking Problem on 350
My 2006 IS 350 is driving my wife crazy. The problem is a cranking issue. It sometimes takes 4 or more try's before it starts. The engine turns over, but does not start. I have had it at the dealer numerous times, but it never seems to do it for them. They have changed the battery, spark plugs and so far I have $750 in the problem, with nothing to show for it. It seems that I'm down to guessing, and trial and error. In scanning the posts on here I see:
- crank sensor
- fuel pump
- key FOB
- ECU capacitors
- o2 sensor
Can anybody give advice on how to fix this problem without poring in good money after bad?
Thanks for help!
