Glad everyone seems to be ok. Airbag probably didn't deploy because the speed wasn't great enough; IDK, Lexus thought of everything though I'm sure.

A modified car owner always takes a vehicle loss harder than another because of all of those personal touches; all of the blood, sweat, tears, $$$ lost in all of a split second. On to the next one I guess.

GL!

I think so too, waiting for the guy to estimate the price, hope they total it and do a favor in my side to replace with another vehicle.

Sad to see it go.. glad you're alright though. On a side note: 250 owners invest in better brakes. They are so garbage

Well if the car was started and it didn't move in D then it will most likely get totaled if you have full coverage.

It all depends on your insurance company but from what I've heard and experienced, they will give you around what KBB values your car at. In my case, I actually got a few thousand more than what KBB valued mine at. So I'd say look that up and it should be withing that range +/- $3K

I checked the price and it's 20k excellent and 17k fair. So shouldn't be that far away?

****KKKK
I can only imagine the pain you're going through, physically and mentally.
I've been through an accident, of which I rear ended someone as well, but my damage was not as bad.
I had neck and back pains for around 2 months, from soreness and sharp pains.
I didn't feel anything for around a week, most likely due to the adrenaline and disbelief state I was in, but the pain was there for sure.
I'm glad you're okay, and a car is a car, even though we all push so much love and effort into it, just be glad you're safe and sound. In the big picture, you're very lucky you were in a Lexus
