V12s are great for the street. Yea not a track tire. Most of the time it's pointless to flip tires, since unless you have a great hook up at a shop you can expect anywhere from 20~30 dollars per wheel for mounting and balancing. That's 60 bucks for just the fronts that could be put towards new tires later down the line.

For the price I like Sumitomo HTR Zs, not the best, but I think it's great for on a budget.

Hankook Ventus V12's are good tires. In my experience, great life and good feel overall. They call it a "Performance Summer Tire" but living in CA its a really good All-Season Tire. Honestly I've had them for almost 25k miles and they're still at 8/32! And the way I drive I am actually impressed. Four or Five times a year I take some trips to the mountains and theyre still good.... IDK. Honestly with the way I drive I'm looking at Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position or Michelin Pilot Super Sport next.

Are the rim guards just as good as OEM?

Thanks.

I would say the OEM Bridgestone Turanza had more of a Raised Rib whereas the Hankook Ventus is more Recessed. I wouldnt say the tires in question had a rim guard though.

so my shop flipped and switched sides for all 4 tires for $60, not bad i guess. they said i could get 5k more miles out of them, but i'm guessing it should be more considering i'll be wearing out different side of the tires now.

So the Hankooks V12's with different sizes front and rear CAN be swapped right to left (as long as keep rears in back) if remounted? I was thinking that since the Bridgestones' could not be done the Hankooks could not be either. Seems worth $60 to me to increase the mileage you can get out of them.

the shop said as long as it's directional tires , the tires can be turned inside out and switched. however, if it's assymetric tires then you cannot do it

Little off topic but I have the oem turanza's on my car and am about to hit 30k and am going to be needing to replace them soon. Any suggestions? I want something quieter/smother road ride but still has good treadlife
