Default OEM Low Beam Out ('06 2IS)

So I checked my car yesterday and my factory HID low beam for my right headlight was out. Decided to get OEM bulb from Lexus and when I switched the bulbs, it still didn't work. I'm thinking it's something electrical like a shortage then. Could anyone chime in or did anyone else have this problem?

Thanks

Did something happen before the light went out? Or did it just stop working all of a sudden? Light bulbs and ballasts progressively go out. From my experience anyway

It definitely just went out randomly, noticed it when I went to lock my car after I parked. It's just the right one too. Spent $90 on the OEM bulb only to find out it's not even the bulb :/ sigh* Does anyone know the brightness of the OEM low beam by any chance too? Kind of wanna change my high beams to the same color.

$90 is really cheap for OEM bulb.. It could be your HID Ballast

Yeah, I was at the mechanic to get my brakes changed and told him to order me the OEM bulb and it ran me $90. And dang alright, is there a write up on how to fix this. I don't really know how to do anything electrical. I guess my next best option is just waiting til next week and having my mechanic fix the ballast.
