Over the course of 24hrs, here is what happened:

1) Passenger side air vents start blowing hot air. Driver's side still blowing ice cold.
2) Nav displays "Check Air Conditioner" message, A/C light starts blinking, and within about 30 seconds, I smell a burning smell and the air goes hot.

- I replaced the cabin air filter about 4 months ago
- I have not checked to see if I can hear the compressor kicking on, ill do that tonight.

Thanks about all the info I have. Any help would be appreciated. The stealership wants me to bring it in so they can use the shotgun method to charge as much as possible. It's A/C so there are many things that can go wrong, and when I called them they told me how much it would be to start trying to fix it, before I even described the problem in detail.

I want to have an idea what I'm dealing with so that I can either take it somewhere else or tell them where I want them to start working.

Update:

I can't hear the compressor kicking in, and it looks like this may be my issue.







I'm not 100% sure what it should look like but I'm pretty sure it's not that. Any input appreciated once again.
