Default I got one!

Alrighty! So I am now the proud owner of a 2006 IS 350. Smokey Granite Mica/Cashmere with Navigation. No Luxury Package or Sport package, but it comes with the 19" 15 spoke wheels, which I like a lot. Just under 100k miles. Totally clean inside and out, with the exception of needing new shocks/struts. Snagged her for less than $15k. =D

Anyway, I wanted to ask because I now need to replace the shocks... I saw on Sewell that you can replace them with the F-Sport Shocks for around $800. That seems like a pretty awesome buy, but what is the difference between the F-Sport and stock shocks?

I don't want to lower the car at all, so I'll keep the factory springs, and I'm more interested in ride smoothness than handling... Should I stick with OEM, or go ahead and get the F-Sport?

Welcome to CL.

I don't think I've read of anyone with just fsport shocks but paired with lowering springs and the results have not been good for the most part.

Stick with oem shocks since you have no interest in lowering.
