So I've been a member since 2008 but have just bought my first Lexus. I traded in my 2005 Supercharged Mustang GT for a 2006 Lexus IS350. Hope to get some good info from some of you guys and enjoy the car. Here's a quick pic.

Nice purchase...welcome to Club Lexus, you will love your IS350...the luxury and reliability will blow you away, but I hope you are not hoping to get crazy with performance mods, as we are very limited to what we can do

I think I'll be happy with minor appearance and performance mods. The 2005 Mustang GT was more than enough at 465RWHP and 421ft/lbs TQ!! It will be nice to get back in to a smooth ride.

I test drove a Mustang GT I think it was a 2012 but I could not stand the fact it had all that power but would break loose so fast. Don't get me wrong its a fun car and I love the fact they don't cost much but I like to get my power on the ground.

Anyhow hope you love the lexus, its a different animal

Boost was amazing, ran the 1/4 mile a few times and was an absolute rush. I agree the car has zero ability to put down power effectively. Slightest bit of rain and even the traction control couldn't keep up once the tires started spinning. It was my first American Muscle, I did enjoy it and I have to admit the culture that goes with it is unmatched. But it will be nice to get back in to a real car again. Can't wait to put some miles on her.
