Default Side Skirt material

Hi, see attached, was wondering if the scratched area is plastic or close enough to metal which will rust over time. Maybe I will touch up if necessary since I don’t have money for a new skirt. thanks

Thanks, I believe it was the dealership that messed up my skirt when I took it in for inspection. I just found out, too late for me now.

Injection molded plastic with primer and paint; it'll not rust.

Time for a paint touch-up.
