Painted grill surround?

I would wrap. I wouldn't attempt to paint it yourself because the paint will definitely chip from all the stuff hitting the front of your car from daily driving.

Wrapping it isn't a bad idea either that way if you don't like you can just peel it off.

looks like having it professionally painted is the way to go. thanks for all the advice.

would anyone share what they paid to just have their grill surround painted to match?

cant remember exactly
i believe it was $100-120 prie quote but in the end paid $200 because the grille had so many rock chips they had to do alot of prep work prior to painting

I paid ~$120 but that was to color match the grill surround and paint the grill insert glossy black. I also had it done at a friends shop so I dont know how this price relates to other shops

Paid about $80 for mines but that was through a hook up. I'd say around $100 is standard price to paint it.

100$ for MACO to do it. Not a stellar job, but good enough. They also had to do some minor refinishing, so I guess it was a decent price when comparing to what others have paid.

For just a little bit more $$$ you could have gone to a legit shop for paint.

I am really thinking of getting Sewell's painted grille surround for my 2011 IS250. Does anyone have a picture of it in Smokey Granite Mica? I would obviously want to see one before I purchase one.

I had mine CF wrapped, holding up for over a year now perfectly fine. had my chrome license plate sprayed matche SGN color and all the paint comes of from weathering.
