Just some added info on the topic of salvage or total loss vehicles...so everyone knows, you can have your insurance deem a vehicle a total loss and it NOT BE REPORTED on Carfax or other such vehicle registries. Ask me how I know!

Also I'm not sure if this is still possible, but back in the days you would buy a total loss from another state and request a title in another state and the state issuing the new title would show no salvage on it. Again this was possible years ago so I'm not sure if they finally fixed that loophole.
