True, for the most part. But the timing belt cover has been known to leak, thats a $2500 repair minimum. Mine cost 3k but then I had the warranty.

In all honesty I do agree with you, Lexus is the most reliable brand on the road right now, and most people would tell you that the more reliable you get the better it is NOT to get the extended warranty.

I am now on a 2011 IS350 AWD and I have not got the extended warranty and I have no plans to.
