Default Is250 ac question

I never got the chance to introduce myself. But im new on the forum and I bought an Is250 2006 in red. So far all I have done is add a sub (type r in a ported box) and swap the stock hid bulbs with some upgraded performance hid. 6k on top and 8k on the bottom. I plan to do alot more but when I have the chance.
I recently notice my AC clutch was not working. But when it does the compressor runs smooth. But sometimes the clutch tends to stall and makes my car stall. Anyone know if I can just replace the clutch instead of the entire compressor? If it matters I did check the freon in the car and it is where its suppose to be and the AC and heat works fine. Only the clutch sometimes stalls and does not engage or move. Can the relay also be the cause of this if there is one? TIA to anyone who tributes and tries to help. I have looked on the forum before posting.
