Lexus to Discontinue IS F after 2013
I don't know if this was posted already. I didn't see it anywhere.

This has been posted in car chat and the IS-F section. Consensus is that the IS-F is merely taking a break, not being discontinued (ie: the e90 came out in 2006 and the m3 came out in 2007).
All this false advertising. none of it is true until Lexus announces it. Also, if this were true, Lexus would forsure announce this, because it'll make people run out and buy the existing ISF, leading to more sales.

I believe the official statement from Lexus was that the 2014 model year would be a carryover for the IS-C and IS-F, so it would appear that while no new IS-F is coming for 2014 the model isn't dead. I would expect a future performance version of the 3IS, though whether it will continue to be called the IS-F may be up in the air. Still, expect a 2014 IS-F, I don't believe 2013 will be the last year for the model.
Probably too early to call at this point, but I would wait until you actually hear something from Lexus before believing anything. There were reports the Toyota Matrix was going to die years ago, but they're still making it. Same goes for several other cars from several other manufacturers.

Sad to hear "if it is true". I love my IS250 so much that im replacing it with a brand new Lexus after this. If they don't make ISFs anymore the I'm getting their current hardtop coupe when that time comes.
