I have a 2008 2IS and i can get my hands on 2009 tail lights for free. I know that I need the harness for the conversion, does anyone know where I can get just the harness.
why would you? the 06-08 and ISF tails are the best looking ones. look at some pictures before just installing "newer" tail lights. i would sell the 09's.

You can pull it off Sewell, but the dealer (or an independent shop) may be better. No shipping etc. Anyway, nice upgrade but I agree - the USDM IS-F tails are legit.
So basically when I remove the tail light from the 09 IS250 I can just grab the harness right off the car as well, and therefore I don't need to purchase any harnesses right? That's kind of what I'm getting out of this

Yes, when you do the swap, make sure you swap the entire harness. This Lamp harness unplugs from the main harness.

I'm doing the swap tomorrow so i just wanted to ask one more question. How long is the harness, and is it noticeable right after taking the lights are out or is there additional shields that need to be removed to take out the harness? Because i've never taken out the tail lights before and I have no idea how long it is.
