CEL, TRAC control off and CHECK VSC
Hello Everyone! I am new to this community and I recently bought a 2007 lexus is350 with 33k miles. Ive been driving it around for a bit until one morning when I started it up, I got the CEL, Trac control, and Check VSC lights. I took it to a local Autozone to read the codes and I got P0441 and P0445. I read a lot of posts on here suggesting that its the gas cap so I changed the gas cap with an OEM one and after resetting the light and driving it for a bit, the light came back on. Next thing the forums suggested was that it was the Vacuum switching valve, so I tested that part and it is working properly. I was wondering has anyone has these two codes on their IS before? What was the fix? What do you guys recommend that I do next? Im trying to avoid the pricy costs of going to a dealership. Thanks a lot everyone!

The same thing happened to me recently but I didn't get a chance to scan for codes. It ended up being the MAF sensor. I used some MAF sensor cleaner on it and the lights haven't come back on. When the MAF was dirty, I noticed that in the 2-3k rpm range, the car would bog a little.

Have the same lights currently on plus some.
Hello everyone I currently drive a 08 ISF, and I have the CEL, Check VSC, and traction control light on. I am straight piped but it seems to reset it self every time I readjust the gas gap. I just replaced the gas gap but the issue stayed the same, does any one have any suggestions? code is P0607
Also I just installed the 78works taillights, everything is wired correctly but its shooting the code C1249 which says an open circuit, its also throwing or my ABS and brake light on. does anyone have any suggestions on this? I could just change back to the originals to change the problem but Im trying to figure out why my car wont accept the new tail lights. help would be greatly appreciated.

i have a 2008 IS250 AWD 63k miles. yesterday the check engine, VSC, and the traction light came on. prior to that, i felt a big of weird sensation with the shifting..hard to explain but felt jerky and just not the same. Today, i took it to my local mechanic. He diagnosed it and pulled a service code P0304 which is Cylinder 4 misfire. He said it was either the fuel injection needs to be serviced ( cleaned) or a coil needs to be replaced. He has cleaned the fuel injection ( not just pouring fluid into tank) but literally taking it apart pipes, etc. and cleaning the parts. The lights and everything has all gone away and the car drives normal. Hopefully it'll stay this way. I'llr report back if lights come back on...just want to share my experience...
