Default Fuse problems I need your help!

I've always had my cig charger not working since the fuse was blown out but I got a radar detector and got new fuse. Because it needs to be plugged in. It worked for an hour than it stoped and it blew out. I think it's some kind of low voltage or electric problem with my car. Does anyone know how to fix this or what's wrong.

Tryed again with a new fuse same problem. And it's the right fuse 15a low profile. It works for 10 mins then goes out

sounds like the cig ligh has a short which blows the fuse. its hard to find shorts. it could be that the radar detector wire may have a short, inspect the radar det wires for nics or cuts.

Happened to me when I bought a cheap car charger on ebay. It kept blowing out my fuses.

Blowing the fuse means that there is a short somewhere, and it is likely in the cigarette lighter itself. Mine didn't work at all when I bought my car a few years ago. I bought the replacement assembly from Sewell for about $25.
