I kinda like them only cos I have done something similar on mine. I can see why people don't like them and to be honest I'm not 100% sure if I'll keep them or not but here are mine.

I bought the new Philips DaylightGuide kit, this thing is bright, and I mean really bright:




They turn on automatically when the engine starts and they're on full brightness when all other lights are off:


They dim about 50% when sidelights or dipped beam (I live in the UK) is turned on:


I really like the quality of the Philips kit but as I said, I'm not 100% convinced on the looks.

1) They don't look good.
2) They are not practical. You already have fog lights to light up the road immediately in front of your car, these are redundant.
3) They can't even be used to help make your car more visible during the daytime because they are so low to the ground.

Nope.

In my opinion, I wouldn't do that to my car but if you like it then do what you like.

It's your car. If you like the LEDs, that's all that matters. Of course you did ask for the opinions of some pretty opinionated people.

Here's a couple pics of my set-up. I was looking to buy an IS-C but ended up with a SC. I installed some LED's solely to augment the existing DRL's so that I would be more visible in the daytime and dawn/dusk. My SC is a head turner for sure and these lights attract even more attention. These LED bars are so bright and blinding at night that I turn them off so as to not attract any unneeded attention from the Po Po. I have them wired through a remote relay and turn them on and off with a key fob remote control. Here's a link to my post on the SC forum. -----> My New LED DRL's installed

The problem is they are too close together, if there were enough open on top of the fog light area then it might look good...

I seen someone on this sight did the "smd" strips right along the bottom of their headlights that looked decent ,
I've thought about it , still thinking though .
