New to the forum, picked up an 06 is350
I have been searching and lurking forever here back to the original IS300 days. I finally bit on a used 350 after owning about 6 different cars in between,
I feel I came out pretty good as the car was a black on black is350 with 66k miles. Has Navigation, sport package, f/r parking sensors, heated and vented front seats, legal tint etc etc. Stickered for 43k and change. Car also has Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires with 8k miles on them which was a plus as well.
The cars paint needs a little help, mainly front bumper and hood with chips so I will probably get it resprayed. Got the car fully detailed and that eliminated 95% of the surface scratches so the rest of the body was in good shape. 1 small ding that can be fixed via paint-less removal. Interior is pretty much spotless.
The car is a 1 owner and they special ordered it as they wanted the aluminum pedals and no one had one locally. The car does have the titanium trim which I do not like. I am thinking about having it sprayed when I do the hood and bumper. Does anyone have any pictures of painted interior trim pieces? I've seen tons of CF wrap but that is not my style.
I also just finished changing the plugs and doing the other maintenance items that should have been done a few thousand miles ago that the owner did not do. Everything else was recorded on the Carfax and maintained well.
I am happy with the car other than the annoying rattles, poor radio reception (pretty sure its due to the tint 35%) and the fact there isn't much you can do aftermarket wise. Overall the car is a fun DD and the gas mileage to this point is livable. Coming from a 09 V6 Accord it lost about 2mpg is my weekly driving schedule and is on par with what I was seeing from my 09 335i.
Now my searching will continue to eliminate the rattles, possibly get the rear window retinted with non metallic tint (not sure whats on there) and try and find interior pictures. Feel free to post any painted interior trim pictures if you have them handy.

Congrats and welcome. There is a thread somewhere that has some pictures of interiors and some members have done their trim piano black. I personally sprayed mine black as well but recently swapped it out for the carbon IS-F trim.

Won't be to much going on with this one, just keeping it looking nice and if I can hold onto it long enough maybe add some cosmetic mods. Coming from the 335i and my older C5 Corvettes there isn't really an aftermarket for these cars from a performance stand point which I prefer over looks. If I can spruce up the interior trim and maybe get a front lip that will probably be it.
