I went to an audio shop back when I first got my car and showed them the last youtube video that I posted to see if they could do that for me. It would have to be all custom work with a lot of fiberglass. They quoted me $250 for labor + the price of a unit
Dude that labor price is not bad.. Here in this place charge me $600 for labor and kit... Go for it...

Yeah I know but that was before I had a Fly Audio unit and then realized that I didnt really need one so I sold it. Besides, I dont want to do anything too custom, just in case I need to put my car back to stock for any reason

I hate my car has stock radio.. SOOO plain and bored looking but I know there is a flyaudio for the car and I want something different.. I saw some CL had double din screen on under the ac unit and how can I look under while driving.. I like in the middle but oh well

Check this replacement unit out for under $600 that has already been thoroughly forum tested.. Forget Fly Audio..

I know, I felt the same way but the double din screens were too custom for my taste, and Fly Audio (~$1200) and the other chinese unit (~$600) arent really worth it for me. I would rather spend that on other mods. But thats just my opinion

How did you disassemble like wiring wise? The adapter TYTO-01 plugs into the biggest plug on the cd changer. With that plugged in and the other two the HVAC still doesnt work. I have to have all 3 plugged into the cd changer. did you splice wires from the main plug into the other ones or somthing?
I didn't use any OE integration adapters, so I didn't use any aftermarket harnesses. The only wires that I tapped at the dash were for power and memory for the Kenwood HU. In the pic below, you will see the unit laying on my workbench. The Kenwood is installed and the disassembled CD changer is above. The changer ended up tucked behind the display (just above the Kenwood).
