Very seldom is "flooring it" needed in a 350. Outside of the Deisel like sound, the motor is extremely smooth and a light feather gives you plenty of power. There's nothing worse than people I see "floor it", blow piles of smoke out the back end and litterally go nowhere fast. Smooth pull away power can be achieved without the "pedal to the metal" motion. I use the power of the 350 when needed, but flooring it is usually uneccessary.
Almost never, I only floor it on special occasion, which is when someone finds it necessary to question the 350's speed. I like keeping it down because it surprises me more when I do it
