Default TPMS programming?

Is there anything special that needs to be done to get TPMS sensors programmed on to a Lexus vehicle?
My factory 18's have their own set currently programmed in and I added a complete set to the 20's now as well.
I want to get the programmed in but so far no luck at my local Firestone with a Snap On tool programmer and no luck at Discount Tire Direct with the tool as well.
Is there anything specific I need to know?

When I got my tires mounted at discount tire, they were able to program them for me for free. Only other option is the dealer I guess, but they'll charge.

Seeing that you bought your wheels from Kris Becker you have the same TPMS as me. Discount tire does it for free. Ask Kris to send you the instructions for it and show it to Discount tire. Thats what I had to do. and make sure that its set on your Main sensor. Discount tire's machine doesnt have the capability to set it on the secondary. So when you go back to put on your factory wheels you are gonna have to have them program it again

I got mine programmed at a local Tire Plus. $39. Took them 20 minutes.

I got my TPMS sensors seperately but the part number is PMV-1017 which what I found works for my vehicle.
The sensors pick up fine and shoe the same mhz as the ones in my factory wheels too but they just wont push through.
The Snap On tool at my friends Firestone does have the capability to run a Main set and a Secondary set.
Everything goes well until it tries to verify and at that point it errors out.
My father tried Discount Tire for his LS460 but no luck at all there with his set and he is running the same sensors as me too.
