what is a good tire brand for 285 25 20...vredestein ultrac sessanta are junk
ive had nothing but bad luck with these vredestein ultrac sessanta tires,I had one front and one rear tire just fall apart and delaminate at the edge to the steel belts at only about 6 months old 8k miles .the others wore out very fast as well.
Im looking for a tire for a 10.5 inch rear wheel,285 25 or maybe 30 series 20 inch wheel
245 30 20 fronts. something that isnt noisy or too expensive and has really good tread wear.
On a lexus im wondering if I would be better going with a 295 25 or 285 30 in the rear and 255 30 or 245 35 for the front..the prev tires had the sidewall kinda layed back, not really stretched but im looking for comfort and read wear,I could care less about having band aid stretched tires to achieve a look!

No, that's why you get an alignment from someone who knows what they're doing. There's nothing wrong with the tire and you can't blame the rubber for getting jacked when the alignment is hosed.

tire wear was bad on the rear tires,no so much with the fronts. all most all the tread across the tire is perfect in the fronts. The rear tires wore down past the belts and didnt do this ... I posted the alignment specs to show the car is inside factory specs, not perfect, but should not be wearing rear tires like this and deff not splitting front tires apart...
and as far as brand goes these are suppose to be one of the top ranked euro brands for very high end cars....sounds like bs to me now

I'm using Hancook Ventus V12's. I'm running 255/30/20 in the rear. Read reviews on Tire Rack, they're very good for the price. Do you have an IS25/30? That's pretty wide in the rear. I did have a 275/30/19 before though. Here's what happened to mine while driving. The inner barrel scored the road too.

this is on a 10.5 inch wheel with the right offset, it is on a diff lexus car,I see alot more posts in this sec and fig alot more tire knowledge on lexus cars would be found here,im going to try the tirerack sec as well.
So you wore out your tires much faster with wider wheels, how much camber correct is necessary to prevent this, another guys said if the toe is within .06 this could be corrected as well?

No, I didn't say if the toe is within 0.06. I said set it to 0.06 (minimum) on both sides. It's not a tolerance, it's a setting. Besides, using angles for toe is worthless. Toe should be measured in millimeters and done by hand, not by machine. All the machines assume a standard size tire, not the one that's on your car. You're way ahead if you have someone who isn't clueless setting the car up.
