Recent Crash Tests IS Doesn't do well?

Sorry if this is old news, but its new to me and maybe to some of you.

It wouldn't have made a difference in my buying decision, but its disappointing to see Lexus and in particular the IS do so badly-10x worse than the Volvo and gets a poor rating.

Its odd that many of the Toyota brand & Scion products do well and 'we' don't.

Would anyone here have purchased a different brand had they known Lex didn't score well, its across the Lexus range (think the RX gets the best rating), not just the IS.

Acura & Volvo are the best at the luxury end of the market, Merc Audi etc don't score well.

Tx Jeff, missed that thread. I'll leave it up anyway for FNG's like myself!

Not sure about the crash test results, but in the past i've seen some members here walk away from pretty bad accidents in their 2IS without any major injuries despite the car looking absolutely terrible afterwards. There's been quite a few accident threads here like that

I was rear ended at a stop light when the other driver was doing at least 50mph on impact, my car was crunched into the car in front of me.....only whiplash injury, headrest design could really be a little better compared to other models I have driven recently.
