Hey guys need some help identifying what this is and if its supposed to be hanging like this... lol

Anyone know? Seems to be hanging lower then everything else. Just had an oil change done so not sure if this wire (or w/e it is) was pulled by accident here or not.

thats just a ground strap

 

+1 It's just a ground strap....grounding the transmission bell housing to the chassis. Just tuck it back up and you're good to go!

You can tell it's a ground strap since it's braided. Any electrical cable would be coated so it doesn't short out.

Such a pretty grounding strap too isn't it. Much better looking than the 8ga amp wire I used on my Civic! Lol!
