Is 220d injector replacement
Hi all i own a 2006 Is 220d and the diesel injector has either cracked or the seal has failed as there is alot of back pressure and you can see white smoke and its a very loud tapping noise.
Has anyone changed a diesel injector themselves adn is it ok to do a straight replacement or does it need to be mapped to the ecu???

hi, you can change the injector yourself.
The car will drive as before but you need that somebody would access the diagnostics computer and enter the code of the injectir that you replaced into the ecu.It only should take 2 min. The code is on top of each injector.
When my injectors were gone on my IS220D fault came up on the ecu (P0093)'Large fuel leak'.
Is there a foult on yours?
